STEAM projects educate students through real-life tasks. The portal features 200+ projects that integrate science, mathematics, technology, and the arts. These projects develop children’s critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills, teaching them how to apply theory in practice
Laboratory works are a collection of tasks that help students master science through experimentation. The portal contains 137 works designed for physics, chemistry, and biology. These experiments develop students’ research abilities and build scientific thinking and practical skills
Virtual simulators are a modern tool that allows students to explore complex scientific phenomena without physical experiments in a safe environment. The STEAM.KZ portal offers 135 simulators for physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Through these simulators, students can repeat experiments, learn without the fear of making mistakes, and gain a deeper understanding of the subjects
STEAM PBL courses are a practical program designed for teachers. During offline training, educators master STEAM and PBL methodologies and learn how to use ready-made projects and tools to conduct lessons in a practice-based format. As a result, teachers are able to deliver meaningful and engaging lessons from day one
The Robotics Module is a section designed to train students in engineering thinking and programming. The portal features 3 core courses: Arduino, LEGO EV3, and SPIKE Prime. Through each course, students learn to assemble everything from simple models to complex robots, as well as how to code and control them. This module develops children’s logical thinking, creativity, and teamwork, preparing them to solve real-world problems
THE IMPORTANCE OF STEAM.KZ
Interest in lessons is decreasing
● Lessons cannot compete with TikTok ● Students are bored, there is no interest ● Body is in class, but the mind is in the phone
21st-century skills are not being formed
● Rote memorization instead of understanding ● Without practice, there is no thinking or creativity ● The 4Cs exist only on paper
Teachers are exhausted, their energy is depleted
● Teachers design the lessons themselves ● Most of the time is spent on reporting; the student comes second
STEAM.KZ — THIS IS NOT JUST AN INNOVATION, IT IS APPLIED SCIENCE
Based on methods with proven effectiveness
STEAM Methodology
Integration of science and art → the link between knowledge and real life. One project = biology + physics + technology + mathematics
21st Century 4C Skills
Essential abilities are developed through teamwork, reflection, and presentation. Result: the graduate can work effectively with people and tasks
PBL (Project-Based Learning)
Solving real-life tasks → deep understanding and motivation. Every lesson is a project: a real-world problem + teamwork
Deeper Mastery of State Standards
STEAM projects are a way to consciously master state standards. Lesson = experience, result = understanding, not just rote memorization
As a result of years of research and practical experience, we have developed a unique methodology for designing STEAM projects. This is a universal tool that fully covers both natural sciences and humanities. Using ready-made templates, any student or teacher can independently create a professional-level project
Through 5 academic hours of offline training, we teach how to conduct practice-oriented STEAM lessons
Teacher Resources
Access is provided to 200+ projects, 140+ laboratory works, 150+ simulators, and robotics courses
Support
Methodological and technical support is provided at all stages of implementing the program into the school
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Increase in Educational Quality
Modern methodologies and practical formats enhance student performance and increase their interest in learning

STEAM.KZ APPROBATION
In 2022, the STEAM.KZ team conducted a study in four innovative schools of the BINOM network in Astana. Over 20,000 students and 150 teachers participated in this research. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of practice-based learning on student interest, skill development, and their perspective on the subject
